Physical Properties
The product has good transparency, is almost impermeable to moisture, has low air permeability and low water absorption, so it can maintain good insulation properties even in water.
Mechanical Properties
Related to molecular weight and processing conditions, and closely related to crystallinity. Tensile strength, elastic modulus, bending properties and hardness all increase with the increase of crystallinity.
Thermal Properties
The melting temperature is 212~217℃. The greater the crystallinity, the higher the melting temperature. The glass transition temperature (Tg) also varies with the crystallinity, generally between 45 and 90°C, and measured by the thermal dilatometer method, it is around 50°C. When PCTFE is exposed to 260~280℃ for a long time, its molecular weight will decrease due to thermal decomposition.
