Q: How do you clean plastic serving trays ?

A: Baking soda
1.Rinse the plastic item with hot water to get all the food out.
2.Sprinkle on baking soda with a bit of water to make a paste.
3.Scrub the paste with a sponge or scrubber.
4.Rinse.
5.Wash with Dawn and warm water.
6.Rinse with clean water.
7.Air dry in the dish drying rack.

Q: How do you sterilize plastic trays ?

A: Soak the plastic: To thoroughly sterilize the plastic, soak the plastic container in bleach water containing about 5% to 10% bleach. Bleach doesn't take long to sterilize, so soaking time is minimal. Hot plastic: This can be washed in the dishwasher, but the microwave will be more effective.
